FlyUs chosen GSSA for Air Serbia cargo operations in Austria

Vienna, Austria, January 2025: Schiphol-based FlyUs Aviation Group (FlyUs) has been appointed cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for Air Serbia.

The agreement will see FlyUs offering local expertise and commercial support to boost cargo sales for the airline, and enhance service for freight forwarders and shippers in the region.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused cargo solutions, and supporting airlines in expanding their commercial reach,” said Niek van der Weide, Senior Director Sales and Strategy, FlyUs.

“We’re looking forward to expanding Air Serbia’s service offering across Central Europe, and providing Austria-based forwarders with increased options to Air Serbia’s network.”

Air Serbia, the national carrier of Serbia, operates a mix of scheduled, seasonal, and charter flights to over 70 destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean, North America, and Africa.

The airline also connects to wider international markets in Asia, Australia, and the Americas through partnerships with global carriers.

“Our team in Austria is ready to hit the ground running, working closely with Air Serbia to build a strong and visible cargo presence,” van der Weide added.

FlyUs now represents more than 34 airlines across 30 countries, offering a full range of cargo services including sales, marketing, customer service, and operations support.
